Frequently asked questions

General

Why hire an interior designer?

Hiring an interior designer allows you to create a space that is both aesthetically pleasing, functional, and tailored to your lifestyle. My role is to optimise every square metre, guide you through your choices, and turn your ideas into a coherent project — all while respecting your budget.

When is the best time to get in touch?

As early as possible. Getting involved from the very beginning of a project helps avoid costly mistakes, optimise spaces, and anticipate technical constraints before work begins.

Do you only work in Haute-Savoie?

I primarily work in Haute-Savoie, particularly in Thonon-les-Bains, Evian-les-Bains, Douvaine, Annemasse, Morzine, and their surrounding areas. Some services, such as habitat therapy or decoration consultations, can also be provided remotely.

Can you work on just a single room?

Yes. A kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, or professional practice can each be the subject of a dedicated project.

Do you also provide site supervision?

Yes. I can coordinate and oversee the construction work to ensure the project, deadlines, and quality standards are upheld.

Services

What is the difference between an interior designer and a decorator?

An interior designer rethinks the layout of spaces — circulation, lighting, volumes — and can plan structural modifications. Decoration then comes in with colours, materials, furniture, and ambiance.

Do you only do decoration?

No. I also work on space planning, floor plan optimisation, bespoke layouts, technical documentation, and site supervision.

Do you create 3D renderings?

Yes. 3D visualisations allow you to picture the result before work begins and to confirm your choices regarding layout, materials, and colours.

Do you work with the client's own contractors?

Yes. I can collaborate with your regular contractors or recommend trusted tradespeople.

Can I choose only a potential study?

Yes. Some people simply want a professional opinion before purchasing a property or launching a project. This service is absolutely available.

Habitat Therapy

What is habitat therapy?

Habitat therapy involves analysing the connection between your living space and your well-being. Your home is a mirror that often reflects your personal history, blockages, and needs. The goal is to identify these and suggest improvements to create a more harmonious environment that is better aligned with who you are.

Is this an esoteric approach?

No. My approach is primarily based on observation, active listening, habitat psychology, spatial planning, and insights from neuroarchitecture. It does not replace medical or psychological care in any way.

Who is habitat therapy for?

Anyone who feels uneasy in their home, is experiencing life difficulties (stress, anxiety, depression, etc.), wants to create a more soothing interior, or is going through a period of change (separation, moving, birth, children leaving home, etc.).

Can this service be done remotely?

Yes. Depending on the situation, part of the process can be carried out remotely using floor plans, photographs, and video calls.

Practices & Healthcare Spaces

Why hire an interior designer for a practice?

The layout of a practice affects the practitioner's comfort, the patient's experience, and the image of your business. A well-designed space fosters trust, improves circulation, and contributes to greater daily well-being.

Do you work with healthcare professionals?

Yes. I work with healthcare professionals, therapists, psychologists, allied health practitioners, and other professionals who want to create a welcoming and functional environment.

Can a practice be renovated without closing entirely?

Depending on the project, it is often possible to organise the work in phases to minimise disruption to your activity.

Pricing

How much does an interior design project cost?

Every project is unique. The cost depends on the surface area, the scope of the brief, and the complexity of the work. A personalised quote is provided free of charge and with no obligation.

Is the first consultation free?

The initial phone call allows us to understand your project and check that it matches your needs. The terms of the appointment are then clarified before any work begins.

Is the quote free?

Yes. The quote is free and comes with no obligation.

Practical Information

How does a project work?
Each project is tailored to your needs, but a full brief typically includes:
  • an initial discussion;
  • a needs analysis;
  • the design phase;
  • plans and visualisations;
  • a technical file if required;
  • site supervision
How long does a project take?

It depends on the scale. A potential study can be completed quickly, while a full renovation requires several weeks of design work followed by the construction period.

Do you stay within the set budget?

Yes. One of my priorities is to design a project that is consistent with your budget and your priorities, while keeping in mind that unexpected costs can arise during renovation — something that should be accounted for in the budget.

How do I book an appointment?

You can use the contact form on this website or reach out to me directly by phone or email. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Didn't find the answer to your question?
